What I Wanna Do With My Life

Something very important I want to do in my life is go to College at Brigham Young University.  I love this school's educational program, and would love to be apart of it.  I want to go and study the Medical Field or Religious Field to become a sports physical therapist or a seminary teacher.  These two fields are my main interests and something I would love to do for a career.  I know I will need to receive the right education to be able to support my family and myself.  This is something I am preparing for in my life and hope I can achieve this goal.  Education is key to anyones future, and is something I want to develop.  I want to do it at BYU.

THE SPORT OF MY LIFE

Second Grade is when it all began.  Basketball has been in my life since I was seven-years old. I first began with Recreation, and started to see early success and the love I had for the game.  Two years later in the fourth grade I started my first year of Competition.  I was on the "Rebels" at this time and we saw the major difference between Rec. and Comp. right as we began.  But, even though the pressure and intensity rose, my love for it became more strong as well.  I started to see success as the years passed and as more years passed, I became a new team member of the "Roy Royals."  This is when basketball started to become fun, intense, and real.  My first couple games with this team were rough, but as I became more comfortable our success grew rapidly.  We saw our potential, and started playing in AAU tournaments against the best in the state.  Still, we continued succeeding and becoming better.  I remember one particular game a couple years ago, against the Bingham Miners.  This team had not lost a single game in over three years.  But that would soon change.  As the final minute approached we were down by one, and my adrenaline began to build.  Coach drew up a play, that we executed perfectly.  I made the game winning shot, and I then realized this is what I wanted to do in my life for as long as I could.  Sadly, two years passed, and I was moved again to the "Blue Devils" where I am currently still playing.  Basketball has been a major part of my life, that I will always work at to become better.  It's been fun, but it is just getting started.

About Me

I am a 15 year old kid who loves sleeping, playing sports, and spending time with my family.  Ever since I was a kid I have had a basketball in my hands.  It has become a big part of my life and is something I would die without.  My family is the keystone of my success, and love of life.  They have always been there for me and I love spending time with them and becoming closer to them as well.  My religion is another big part of my life.  I am proud to say I am a Mormon and apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  The church has helped me in more ways then I will ever be able to comprehend, and is something I will always be apart of.  Music is one of the my many hobbies that I enjoy very much as well. I am currently apart of a group that involves kids ranging from ages 9th - 12th grade.  We sing religious and classical music and travel all over to perform.  I love being apart of this group because it gives me a chance, when we sing the religious songs, to feel of the spirit and sing my testimony.  It is something I love doing.  Friends are also a major part of my life.  I love hanging out with friends and meeting new people.  Friends are a big influence in my life and I hope to be able to gain more and more as I go throughout my life.  If I was to sum up my life, it would be music, friends, family, religion, and sports.  This is my life.
